  • When and where is the race?

    The race will be held on the evening of Thursday September 28th 2017 in the Sandyford Business District. The start time will be 7:30pm.

  • What will the course be like?

    The course will be predominantly flat, and along the roads of the Sandyford Business District. To see the race route itself, just have a look at the ‘Course’ section of this webpage.

  • How much is it to enter?

    The cost of entering the race is €25.00 per individual and a corporate team of 4 is €100.00 (including the online processing fee). You can enter the race by clicking the ‘Register Here’ button at the bottom of the page.

  • Who is organising the event?

    Dundrum South Dublin Athletics Club (Ireland’s largest athletics club), are the hosts of the Twilight Team Challenge event. Our club is also the organiser of the VHI Women’s Mini Marathon each year.

  • Can I enter a mixed team?

    Yes. There will be team categories for male, female and mixed too. A mixed team can be made up of any combination of male and female participants (eg. 3 male and 1 female is eligible).

  • Can I enter as an individual?

    Although the event is mainly being pitched at teams of 4 runners, individuals are more than welcome to register too.

  • Will there be prizes?

    There will be prizes for leading teams and individuals on the day. But there will be a surprise!

    There will also be T-shirts and medals for all participants.

  • Where may i see pictures of the race?

    We try our very best to get your best side in every photo of course, but you will be able to see your fabulous picture of the finish line on our facebook page  Twilight Team Challange Facebook

  • What is the timing system?

    Chip Timing – Each participant’s 5k will be electronically time-tracked to perfection.

  • Where does the money go?

    The Twilight Team Challenge is organised by Dundrum South Dublin AC, one of the biggest athletics clubs in the country.

    The club is famed for producing many of our country’s greatest athletes (for more information click here www.dsdac.com/club-info)while catering for huge numbers of all ages and abilities across south Dublin. All of this in spite of having no track and field facilities of our own!

    The club has recently purchased a site adjacent to Marlay Park to build athletics and sports facilities which will serve our local community. Funds raised from the Twilight Team Challenge will be directed to developing and maintaining these athletics and sports facilities.
